2:30pm -  4:00pm   A Trustworthy Guide in These Impure Times

Sunday, June 4, is Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day, when we celebrate Buddha giving his first teaching in this world. It is a very important day in the Buddhist calendar when all our actions are thousands of times more powerful.  This auspicious day is also the day on which Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche was born in 1931.

To celebrate this special occasion and to make prayers for Venerable Geshe-la's long life,
we will start the day by engaging in Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja.  Everyone is welcome.  It’s lovely to bring a small food offering if you like. (Vegetarian only - ex. chocolate, fruit, cookies, small bottles of juice or tea, etc.)

Pujas are FREE of charge.

Please join us after puja for refreshments and time to socialize.

A Trustworthy Guide in These Impure Times

with Donna Campanelli

2:30pm - 4:00pm (regular General Program class)

Who can guide us reliably through these times of uncertainty, rapid change and development, excitement and exhilaration, anxiety and discontent, distraction and discouragement?  Only someone who, themselves, has attained a deep and steady inner peace and freedom; Buddha is just such a reliable guide.  How wonderful if every one of us could meet and connect deeply with an authentic spiritual guide…a teacher who can lead us, directly and personally, step by step, into the deep joy and peace to be found within our own hearts.
