Profound Joy

WITH SPECIAL GUEST TEACHER,
KADAM MORTEN

SUNDAY, MAY 21

2:30 - 4:00PM

THIS CLASS IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PRE-REGISTERED.

(Registration is now closed.)

Through Buddhist meditation, we learn to experience a profound joy. The happiness that we experience when things are temporarily going our way is fleeting and unstable. But through understanding the nature of the mind, we access a natural joy that we can maintain even in the face of difficulties. In this class, Kadam Morten will guide us to connecting with this profound joy, opening us to the extraordinary potential for happiness, love, and other good qualities that exist within each and every one of us. He will also explain the practice known as ‘transforming enjoyments’ through which we can make the things that we enjoy in our daily life meaningful … and more joyful!

Afterwards for those who wish, there will be an informal Q & A with Kadam Morten.

Kadam Morten Clausen is the Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center, New York City.
