Cooling The Heat Of Delusions

During our summer term, we will be focusing on Buddha’s illuminating teachings on the delusions and how to recognize and finally abandon them. According to Buddha, our suffering comes about due to the uncontrolled and painful states of mind known as the delusions. In each session, we will focus on how to deal with a particular delusion, among them - desirous attachment, deluded pride, jealousy, conflict, discouragement, and anger. Learning practical methods to reduce the power of these delusions will allow us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom, and give us the skill to be the person we wish to be - positive, joyful, confident and loving. Each class is self-contained and will feature two meditations, one at the beginning and one at the end.
