Offering our Faith Meditation Retreat

Every day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition; but on this auspicious day, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we will offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one-day retreat.

There will be two sessions of self-guided retreat using the sadhana, The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra and Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples.  The retreat will conclude with Offering to the Spiritual Guide.

Schedule

10:00am - 11:15am:  Intro & Session 1
11:15am - 11:45am:  Break and refreshments
11:45am - 1:00pm:   Session 2
2:45pm - 4:30pm:    Offering to the Spiritual Guide Puja w/ tsog offering

IMPORTANT! At all times, regardless of the empty spaces in the building lot, please use the parking lot at the corner of Lester Avenue and Nostrand Avenue ONLY*. Tenants in the building with designated spaces do come at random times and we don’t want to create any imposition for them. The lot diagonally across the street is FREE.

*There are two designated handicap spaces in the building’s lot, if you need one.
