10:00am - 1:00pm (with tea break)

Vajra Light kadampa Buddhist Center
875 Mamaroneck Avenue
Suite 205
Mamaroneck, NY 10543

One of the most central practices at Kadampa Meditation Centers around the world is the recitation and contemplation of the Liberating Prayer. This brief and beautiful praise to Buddha Shakyamuni, composed especially for us, by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, is a profound exploration of the nature of enlightenment. Through reciting and contemplating this prayer, we can open ourselves to and connect with the blessings of the Buddhas, greatly inspiring us on our own path to enlightenment.

Kadam Donna will guide meditations and share insights based on the recent Northeast Dharma Celebration teachings, helping us go deeper into our own contemplations of this beautiful and inspiring prayer. Together, we will explore its meaning and discover how its profound wisdom can inspire our daily lives and deepen our practice.

Everyone is welcome. Suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.

No pre-registration necessary.
