Dorje Shugden is also known as the “great Protector of the Guru’s words” because he helps us penetrate the profound wisdom of Kadam Dharma, ensuring its light continues to shine for generations to come.

Gen-la Dekyong will grant empowerment and share practical teachings on how to come under the constant care of this powerful Protector. Through this we can realize our Spiritual Guide’s teachings, make swift progress in our practice of Sutra and Tantra, and come to experience his same enlightened state.

The Festival Venue
International Kadampa Retreat Centre Grand Canyon is an incredible venue situated adjacent to Old Route 66 in Northern Arizona at 7,000 feet above sea level. The area is abundant in sightseeing, hikes, historic landmarks, and national parks — only an hour’s drive to the Grand Canyon, 45 minutes to Sedona, and 40 minutes to Mount Humphreys, the tallest point in the state at 12,633 feet
