Volunteer at IKRC Grand Canyon now though October 3
As you may know, this summer Kadam Donna, along with 36 Resident Teachers and many Kadampas from across the US, Canada, and Mexico, have been helping prepare the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon for the International Fall Festival in October. This has included painting the hotel building and renovating the cafe space.
So much has already been done to beautify and prepare the site, but there is still more to do.
If you have the time, please consider joining this wonderful volunteer experience. Do you have some extra airline miles or credit card points? You could use them in a meaningful way to travel to this beautiful site 😊
They are currently looking for people who can:
Paint
Do woodworking
Have general handy-person skills
Cook and clean
But mostly, people who are hardworking and have good hearts 😊
The people there are so kind and inspiring and the food? Absolutely delicious!
As an added benefit, those who come and help during the Summer Festival time period can attend the online Summer Festival viewing in the temple for free.
